MISSION STATEMENT: Save Our Streets Ministries is a nonprofit organization dedicated to taking the love of Jesus Christ to the streets of Bryan/College Station and beyond."

VISION: J.J.'s vision is to develop a 24 hours, 7 days a week Ministry Center.

ELEMENTS OF THE VISION:
1. Develop a 24 hours, 7 days a week Center.
2. This Center would be a Holy Ghost Hospital equipped to meet the Spiritual needs of all who need help.
3. It would be a multi-purpose Center.
4. It would provide a Men's home (Girl's home at a different location).
5. It would provide tutoring services.
6. It would have a computer room.
7. It would have shop facilities.
8. It would teach trades such as electrical, A/C, carpenter, plumbing, etc.
9. It would have a work program such as lawn mowing service, etc.
10. It would teach entrepreneur skills.
11. It would teach marketing skills.
12. It would provide job placement.
13. It would provide transportation.
14. It would provide food and clothing to needy.
15. It would provide marriage seminars.
16. It would teach parenting skills.
17. It would train local people to be missionaries in their neighborhoods.
18. Every worker would be trained to share the Gospel and lead people to Christ.
19. It would provide an after care program.
20. There would be Basketball tournaments and other sporting events as outreach tools.
21. Ministries would include:
   A. Thursday Bible studies
   B. Friday night worship and praise service
21. Other functions of the vision.
   A. Speaking at school functions and other speaking engagements.
   B. Write a book
   C. Develop pilot programs
   D. Bridge gap between church members and gang members and other unchurched people.

The first step of faith to fulfill the vision is to purchase 19.6 acres of land on Groesbeck. We need a total of $120,000 of which & 60,000 has already been raised (as of 2 March 2004). SOS Ministries will be funded by the body of Christ!!!
